The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• MARIO IRENEO YANEZ, 30, of 800 Willia, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
• CHRISTOPHER BENNETT WOOTEN, 50, of 301 State, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• MARTIN ANTHONY RAMIREZ, 20, of 1601 Stadium, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• JESSE RAMIREZ GONZALES, 27, of 102 Circle, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• PHILLIP RENE ALCANTAR, 22, of 500 N. Runnels, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• KIMBERLY KAY PINEDA, 29, of 805 W. Interstate Highway 20 Apt. 313, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to maintain financial responsibility – second offense and a warrant from another agency.
• RANDY RAMIRO RAMIREZ, 27, of 407 Johnson, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
• PRINCE CORPEL VANDERBILT, 24, of 1502 Lincoln, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ASSAULT was reported:
In the 600 block of Ridgelea.
In the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 600 block of Linda Lane.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth St.
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
In the 500 block of Westover Road.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1700 block of S. Lancaster.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
• DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE was reported in the 100 block of Circle.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 68 inmates at the time of this report.
• DAVID JOE VILLAREAL JR., 24, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on an indictment for aggravated sexual assault of an elderly/disabled person and a Tom Green County warrant for motion to revoke probation.
• CHRISTOVAL MOREN CORRALEZ, 51, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of property.
• JESSIE RAMIREZ GONZALES, 27, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• DELISHA LA-QUETT FRANCIS, 39, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of bondsman off bond – manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and bondsman off bond – possession of a controlled substance.
• PRINCE VANDERBILT, 24, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• KIMBERLIE KAY PINEDA, 29, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of bail jumping – failure to appear and municipal warrants for failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility, violation of a promise to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility – second offense.
• PHILLIP RENE ALCANTAR, 22, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• RANDY RAMIREZ, 27, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Wasson Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2800 block of Clanton. Service refused.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of FM 700 and Virginia. Service refused.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Interstate Highway 20 and Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
