The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• RUSSELL WAYNE CLAY, 50, of 1205 Lancaster, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• GARY LEE SMALE JR., 36, of 2504 Kelly, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of violation of a protective order – family violence.
• RICHARD LEE BEATTY, 26, of 508 Young, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• STEVEN ANDREW LOPEZ, 33, of 2412 Alabama, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant from another agency.
• VICTORIA M. HANNABASS, 22, of 3405 E. Highway 350, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• ANGELA DENISE SIMPSON, 32, of 5705 W. Midway Rd., was arrested Tuesday on warrants for driving without safety belt (two counts), failure to appear (three counts), no inspection certificate and no driver's license when unlicensed.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1000 block of Scurry.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 72 inmates at the time of this report.
• GARY LEE SMALE JR., 36, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of violation of a protective order with two previous convictions.
• RUSSELL WAYNE CLAY, 50, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication. Clay was later arrested by the HCSO on a Austin warrant for violation of parole.
• PAUL JOHN HOLGUIN, 45, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on indictments for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child – sexual contact.
• RICHARD LEE BEATTY, 26, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence.
• AARON JOE GUZMAN, 19, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for aggravated robbery.
• LEA TOLISON, 32, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of parent contributing to the non-attendance of a minor and violation of a promise to appear.
• MARISA OLIVAS, 28, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• STEVEN ANDREW LOPEZ, 33, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on an Attorney General warrant for motion to revoke community supervision and suspend license.
• LISA GALE GAMBLE, 46, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• VICTORIA HANNABASS, 22, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• ANGELA D. SIMPSON, 32, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for driving without safety belt (two counts), failure to appear (three counts), no inspection certificate and no driver's license when unlicensed.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3300 block of W. Highway 80. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Banks. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of Young. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
