The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• BEVERLY RYNEL ARMSTRONG, 49, of 821 W. Eighth St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
• ROY JUNIOR HULIN, 50, of 2911 W. Highway 80 Apt. 105, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• GERALD RAY KING, 31, of 2512 Dow, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid – no insurance.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 600 block of Tulane.
In the 200 block of W. FM 700.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 2300 block of Kentucky.
In the 500 block of Young.
In the 1300 block of Mulberry.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 1600 block of Young.
In the 600 block of Manor.
• FORGERY was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
Note: In the Feb. 1 edition of the Herald, the Howard County Sheriff's Office included the following arrest in its report: Jason Isaac Miramontes, 31, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle. Since that time, however, BSPD officials have confirmed that charges against Miramontes were not filed.

• BEVERLY RYNEL ARMSTRONG, 49, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
• ROY JUNIOR HULIN, 50, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• GERALD RAY KING, 31, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension.
• AMANDA LEOS, 27, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a municipal warrant for open alcohol container in vehicle.
• DEBRA DENISE AUSBIE, 49, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on an attorney general warrant for failure to appear – motion for enforcement.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the 184 mile marker of Interstate Highway 20. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Birdwell Lane. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Gatesville. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported near the intersection of Chonning and Trades.
