The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• DEBRA DENISE AUSBIE, 49, of 1501 Tucson, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• AMANDA LEOS, 27, of 1504 Chickasaw, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for open container in a motor vehicle – passenger.
• DOUGLAS ARNOLD, 36, of 405 W. Seventh St., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency.
• RICKY RICARDO LOPEZ, 21, of 601 Caylor, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• ABEL DANNY MORELION, 45, of 1319 Tucson, was arrested Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear, driving while license invalid, dog or cat running at large, no dog or cat rabies vaccination and two warrants from another agency.
• MAURICIO TORRES, 37, of 311 W. Third St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported:
In the 600 block of W. Interstate Highway 20.
In the 1300 block of Mesquite.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 59 inmates at the time of this report.
• TYSON DEMETRIOUS BARKER, 20, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of a prohibited weapon and burglary of a habitation.
• ABEL HERNANDEZ HINOJOS, 38, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• DOUGLAS WAYNE ARNOLD JR., 36, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a Delaware warrant for fugitive – failure to register as a sex offender.
• RICKY RICARDO LOPEZ, 21, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• TIMOTHY RAY LUCIO, 26, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a motion to adjudicate guilt and failure to appear – unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• SAMANTHA MARIE PAYNE, 27, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ABEL MORELION, 45, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of driving while license invalid (two counts), theft by check, no vaccination or license for animal, animal at large and violation of a promise to appear.
• MAURICIO TORRES, 37, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• RYAN WAYNE NORMAN, 19, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of E. 12th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of E. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 700 block of Capri. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 4000 block of Dickey. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3300 block of W. Highway 80. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of E. Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Third and Owens. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the area of Channing.
