The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• SHANE EDDIE ANDERSON, 39, of 806 E. 18th St., was arrested Tuesday on warrants for speeding and failure to appear.
• SALENA MARIE TAYLOR, 31, of 1005 S. Nolan, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for failure to identify as a fugitive from justice – giving false information, speeding and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• AMBER RAY ALEXANDER, 31, of 1907 S. Runnels, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BOBBY LENN SIMMONS, 42, of Arlington, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for dog or cat running at large (two counts), failure to appear (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility, no inspection certificate, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant from another agency.
• TAMMY EVONNE MAXWELL, 49, of 914 E. Sixth St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• TERRY WILLIAM SAWYERS, 49, of 1504 S. Main St., was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• MANUEL SOSA, 18, of 2510 Ent, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1800 block of N. Highway 87.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1500 block of E. 11th Place.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 57 inmates at the time of this report.
• SALENA MARIE TAYLOR, 31, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of failure to identify as a fugitive from justice – giving false information and municipal warrants for speeding and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• AMBER RAY ALEXANDER, 31, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• BOBBY LENN SIMMONS, 42, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on warrants for dog or cat running at large (two counts), failure to appear (two counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility, no inspection certificate, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant from another agency.

• PAUL HAGLAND, 64, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• MANUEL SOSA IV, 18, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of minor in consumption of alcohol.
• JACKIE JOE-KYLE KIRKHAM, 17, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of minor in consumption of alcohol and no driver's license.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Driver Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Donley. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and Hearn. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Chanute. One person was transported to SMMC.
