The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• MIGUEL ANTONIO ARENIVAZ, 21, of 2603 Ent Drive, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
• JOLINDA FLORES, 20, of 1603 Hilltop, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of a controlled substance less than one gram, prohibited substance in correctional facility – takes controlled substance/dangerous drug/alcohol.
• JAMEY SCOTT JOHNSON, 48, was arrested Wednesday on charges of soliciting/peddling after hours.
• THEFT was reported in the 1400 block of Wood.
In the 400 block of Scurry.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 4200 block of W. HWY 80.
In the 1300 block of Tuscan.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 69 inmates at the time of this report.

• KENDRA LYNN HARRISON, 40, was arrested by the HCSO on charges of no drivers license; violate promise to appear.
• QUINTEN LEE LITTLE, 22, was arrested by the HCSO on a charge of criminal mischief less than $20,000 but more than $1,500; unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
• DANIEL P. WHITE, 30, was arrested by the HCSO on a charge of class C theft.
• KATHRENE CHAVARRIA, 40, was arrested by the HCSO on a charge of class C theft.
• BETTY JEAN MUNIZ, 45, was arrested by the HCSO on a charge of BOB/driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age.
• ROBERT ELWOOD KOLLAR, 44, was arrested by the DPS on an Ector County warrant for theft.
• EDWARD GARCIA SR., 53, was arrested by the HCSO on a warrant for driving while intoxicated, third or more sentenced.
• NOE SOLIZ, 27, was arrested by the HCSO on a warrant for AG/FTA- Motion for enforcement.
• JAMEY SCOTT JOHNSON, 48, was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD on a charge of soliciting after hours.
• GLORIA FLORES, 40, was arrested by the HCSO on a charge of parent contributing to non-attendance.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
•MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRANSFER was reported at SMMC from Lamun- Lusk.
• TRANSFER was reported at SMMC from Lamun – Lusk.
• TRANSFER was reported in the 1800 block of N.Hwy 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
•  TRANSFER was reported at SMMC from Lamun – Lusk.
