The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• AMANDA NICOLE EDMONDSON, 22, of 3224 Cornell, was arrested Thursday on warrants for expired license plate, failure to appear (three counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver's license – when unlicensed.
• JOHN MICHAEL EDMONDSON, 38, of 3224 Cornell, was arrested Thursday on charges of driving while license invalid, assault – family violence (two counts and criminal mischief.
• SALVADOR GUTIERREZ PEREZ, 39, of 1314 State Park Dr., was arrested Thursday on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• JACKIE DOYLE RICHEY, 48, of 700 E. 15th St., was arrested Thursday on warrants for open container in motor vehicle – driver and failure to appear.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1200 block of Lloyd.
• THEFT was reported in the 200 block of W. FM 700.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 1400 block of N. Highway 87.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1100 block of E. 12th Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 65 inmates at the time of this report.
• JACKIE DOYLE RICHEY, 48, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for open container in a vehicle and failure to appear.
• AMANDA EDMONDSON, 22, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on municipal warrants for displaying an expired registration, failure to appear (three counts), failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver's license.
• JOHN MICHAEL EDMONDSON, 38, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of criminal mischief and driving while license invalid, and municipal warrants for assault – family violence (two counts).
• SALVADOR GUTIERREZ PEREZ, 39, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of disorderly conduct – language.
• MELISSA PAYNE, 23, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of displaying an expired license plate (two counts) and displaying fictitious registration.
Note — The Thursday edition of the Herald incorrectly identified the details of the arrest of Edward Garcia Sr. The arrest should have read: Edward Garcia Sr., 53, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Lincoln. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported approximately 13 miles south of Big Spring on U.S. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 800 block of Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of S. Highway 87 and RR 33. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of S. Highway 87 and RR 33. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of E. Third Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2500 block of Langley. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Jeffery Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
