The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• LOUIS ANTONIO SILVA, 22, of 1210 Lindberg, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for open container in a motor vehicle – passenger.
• KENNETH JAMES YORK, 31, of Granbury, was arrested Tuesday on two warrants from another agency.
• JAMES EARL MAGERS, 49, of 1511 Tucson, was arrested Tuesday on charges of driving while license invalid/suspended with a previous conviction and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• ASHLEY DURAN, 24, of Abilene, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
• MIGUEL ANGEL HERNANDEZ, 24, of Abilene, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
• MISTY JO LASATER, 26, of 538 Westover Rd. Apt. 135, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid – no insurance.
• WILLIAM COLE LAFON, 66, of Azle, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 300 block of S. Gregg Street.
In the 800 block of W. FM 700.
In the 900 block of Rosemont.
• FORGERY was reported in the 1000 block of S. Main Street.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

• WILLIAM ROBERT CALLEY, 34, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for driving while intoxicated – second offense.
• ERIK SANCHEZ, 17, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a TYC warrant for absconding while on parole.
• ASHLEY DURAN, 24, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds.
