The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
Note: The BSPD reported no arrests were made during this period.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1100 block of N. Aylesford.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 1200 block of Young.
In the 600 block of State.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• LARRY JONES HINOJOSA, 37, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and a Tom Green County warrant for unauthorized absence from community correctional facility.
• KENNETH CHARLES DEMONE, 54, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• ELOY FIERRO JR., 46, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of Class C assault – family violence.
• DAVID HOUSTON SUMMERS, 33, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest, search or transportation.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 600 block of N. Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 3200 block of Avenue C. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of W. Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Harvard. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1600 block of Aylesford. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block o0f Tonn Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 800 block of W. FM 700. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 1100 block of W. Third Street.
