The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Wednesday:
• ABEL GUZMAN, 29, 2911 W. Highway 80, was arrested on warrants charging unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in a weapons free zone, failure to identify fugitive from justice, retaliation and a warrant from another agency.
• PATRICK ROBERTS PARRAS, 23, 2804 Williams, was arrested on a warrant charging no driver's license.
• VELERIA MATA MONTEMAYOR, 35, 2522 Gunter, was arrestged on warrants charging failure to report change of address/name, failure to appear and a warrant from another agency.
• SCOTT HUNTER MANLY, 61, Midland, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOHN FLORES, 46, 1517 Sycamore, was arrested on a warrant from another agency.
• ANTONIO LINARES, 22, Mansfield, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 600 block of Ridgelea.
• THEFT was reported in the 2500 block of Hunter.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Thursday (66 prisoners were reported in the county jail):
• PATRICK ROBERT PARRAS, 23, was jailed on a charge of no driver's license.
• VALERIA MATA MONTEMAYOR, 35, was jailed on charges of failure to change address or name and violating promise to appear.
• SCOTT HUNTER MANLY, 61, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• JOHN FLORES JR., 46, was jailed on a parole violation warrant.
• ANTONIO LINARES JR., 22, was jailed on a charge of public intoxication.
• ISAAC J. TARIN, 18, was jailed on warrants charging theft, disorderly conduct and failure to appear.

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Wednesday:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of W. 24th. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1000 block of N. Aylesford. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of Moore Road. Service was refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1000 block of Sycamore. Service was refused.
