The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• CRYSTAL CLEAR LEE, 28, of 905 N. Gregg St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for criminal mischief between $50 and $500.
• JOSE ANGEL URIAS, 18, of 206 Simer Rd., was arrested Monday on a warrant for racing on highway — acceleration contest.
• MARSHA DIANE CARTER, 34, of 5108 Dawson Rd., was arrested Monday on a warrant for speeding in school zone.
• EDWIN JAMES DEAN, 45, of 1403 S. Nolan St., was arrested Monday on a charge of disorderly conduct/language.
• THEFT was reported in the 1000 block of N. Gregg Street.
In the 100 block of W. FM 700.
• HARASSMENT was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 700 block of E. 16th Street.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 800 block of W. 18th Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 100 block of Brown Street.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 70 inmates at the time of this report.
• JOHNNY RAY VIERA JR., 25, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of marijuana less than two ounces and judgement/sentence for theft of property more than $50 and less than $500.
• JOSE URIAS, 18, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a warrant for racing on highway.
• MARSHA DIANNE CARTER, 34, was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD Monday on a charge of capias/disorderly conduct — vulgar language.
• EDWIN JAMES DEAN, 45, was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD Monday on a charge of disorderly conduct/language.
• RAMONDA LYNN JONES, 30, was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD Monday on a charge of hindering an officer discharging official duties.
• GARY W. MARSHALL, 25, was transferred to the county jail by the BSPD Tuesday on a charge of evading arrest/detention.
The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Wednesday:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2100 block of W. Third Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of W. FM 700. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of HWY 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• PUBLIC SERVICE was requested in the 3900 block of Gail HWY. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of Wood. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Ohio. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of HWY 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of N. Main. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Nolan. Service refused.
• GRASS FIRE was reported on County Road Three. Extinguished.
