Putt putt event combines good time, good cause

April 27, 2011

The Big Spring Rotary Club has combined a way for the community to spend some family time and help a good cause.

A putt putt fund-raiser to benefit PolioPlus is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Park and Putt Family Fun Center. Entry fee is $18 per person.

“We want everyone to come out and enjoy the fun,” Dathan Jones, Rotary member, said. “It's a great way for the family to spend time together because anyone can play. If you can hold a putter, you can play.”
