Quail Dobbs to be honored

October 21, 2011

Former rodeo clown Quail Dobbs of Coahoma will be inducted into the Texas Trail of Fame on Saturday in a ceremony at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Quail, now a justice of the peace, is the only JP since Judge Roy Bean to be inducted into the organization.

The Trail was organized in 1997 to recognize people who have contributed to the Western way of life.
