Randell Eston Hollis, 41, of Big Spring died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Pat Ray, pastor of Prairie View Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born Oct. 21, 1970, in Big Spring, Texas.

Randell graduated as salutatorian from Borden County High School in 1988. He was a licensed electrician and taught at the Vocational Tech Program at the Federal Prison, then teaching at Howard College for the last five years. He loved to hunt and fish.

He was a member of Prairie View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Eston and Faye Hollis of San Angelo; his sister, Tanya Pfluger and husband Reid of San Angelo; his nephew, Zachary Pfluger; and his nieces, Allyson and Trisha Pfluger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Mae Carpenter and Earl and Lucille Hollis.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, Midland Office, 3001 N. Big Spring St., Suite 104, Midland, Texas 79705.
