Ready for liftoff: Hang gliding championships begin Sunday

July 28, 2014

“Strongest, smoothest, most consistent conditions of all the major U.S. competitions. Air conditioned pilot lounge, hangar, paved runways, ice cream, water and all facilities.”

According to Airpark Director Jim Little, more than 60 competitors have registered for this year’s national championships, which begins Sunday, surpassing previous years.
