Reginald Jerome Vanderbilt, 30, departed this Saturday Aug. 17, 2013. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 111 a.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born on July 21, 1983, in Big Spring Texas, to Rosie Vanderbilt-Francis. He attended San Angelo and Big Spring schools. He was a member of New Life Ministries COGIC. His loving, funny, happy personality will be truly missed by all who knew him. He loved children, playing musical instruments, singing and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Jaborien and Jalea Cook Vanderbilt; his parents, Rosie Vanderbilt-Francis, Timothy Weatherspoon of Midland, Elder Jerome and Bethine McNally of Big Spring; his brothers, Bryson Vanderbilt, Quentin Vanderbilt and Hezekiah McNally, all of Big Spring and O'Keith Weatherspoon of San Angelo; his sisters, Natasha Vanderbilt of Big Spring, Rosemary Ballard of Houston, La'Quinta Weatherspoon of Arlington and Tammy Weatherspoon and Narda Weatherspoon of Carrolton, Texas; his grandmothers, Gwendolyn Vanderbilt of Big Spring, Sarah Jones and Dorothy McNally of San Angelo; and several family members.
