Another year of Relay For Life is bringing the same hope as always, but at the same time, it's changing things up a bit.

Relay For Life 2012 will be changing venues and take place April 20-21,2012 at Memorial Stadium instead of Blankenship Field from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

“We are making things different and changing it up this year,” said Manny Negron, 2012 event chair. The big announcement came during Tuesday night's community kick-off event.

For years, Relay has been held at Big Spring High School's Blankenship Field. However, the upcoming Relay and change of venue will offer more parking and lighted areas in the parking lot.

“With the additional parking we can put more focus on getting people there,” Negron said.
