Miss Raegan Mychal Ritchey and Mr. Nathan Riley Bayless were united in marriage Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 6 oâ€™clock in the evening at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Randy Cotton.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Ritchey of Big Spring. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leona Turner and the late Leo Turner of Kerrville, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Ritchey of Big Spring.
The groom is the son of Dennis Bayless of Burkburnett, Texas, and Shelly Bayless of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is the grandson of Jessie and Ruby Newbold and the late Shirley Newbold of Robinson, Ill., and Juanita Bayless of Burkburnett.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a natural white silk dupioni dress by Paloma Blanca. It featured a sweetheart neckline with dropped waist ruching and full skirt with a chapel length train.
She carried a bouquet of pink peonies, Queen Anneâ€™s lace, spray roses and dahlias.
Mrs. Heather Policky Hord of Keller, Texas and Mrs. Britni Rodriguez Grandon of Lubbock, served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids included Miss Alex Watkins of Lubbock; Mrs. Mallory Dunn Thomas of Deer Park, Texas; Miss Cerbi Ritchey, cousin of the bride, of Big Spring; Miss Madison Gibson, cousin of the bride, of Glen Rose, Texas; and Miss Amanda Bayless, sister of the groom, of Wichita Falls.
The flower girls were Miss Kinsley Riddle and Miss Kendyl Riddle, cousins of the bride, of San Angelo.
The matrons of honor and bridesmaids wore pearl pink silk dupioni cocktail dresses of their choice designed by Alfred Sung. The flower girls wore ivory silk dupioni dresses. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of white and pink hydrangeas.
Mr. Kyle Harpole of San Angelo served as best man. Groomsmen included Mr. Zack Bradley of San Angelo; Mr. Brant Frazier of Burleson, Texas,; Mr. Brett Stine of Denton, Texas; Mr. Bradan Ritchey, cousin of the bride, of Granbury, Texas; Mr. Matt Ritchey, brother of the bride, of Waco, Texas; and Mr. Derek Kowalik of San Angelo.
The ring bearer was Mr. Keagan Riddle, cousin of the bride of San Angelo.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Big Spring High School. She graduated in 2009 from Angelo State University with a bachelor of arts in marketing and also holds a Texas Teaching Certificate in secondary education.
She is employed as an area manager by Encompass Home Health in Forth Worth.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Burkburnett High School. He later graduated from Angelo State University with a bachelor of arts in finance as well as a masters degree in business administration.
He is working as a credit analyst for Legend Bank in Fort Worth.
Following their honeymoon to Costa Rica, Raegan and Nate will reside in Fort Worth.
