Robert E. Dalsing Sr., 46, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in a Snyder hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Ron Sears officiating. Graveside services will be at noon Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.
He was born Oct. 20, 1965, in Independence, Kan., and married Robyn Watson on Aug. 27, 1987, in Olathe, Kan.
Robert was currently serving as the pastor at Birdwell Lane Baptist Church in Big Spring and as a chaplain with Howard County.
Survivors include his wife, Robyn Dalsing of Big Spring; one son, Robert Dalsing Jr. of Big Spring; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Chuck Smith of Snyder; a grandson, Brentley Smith of Snyder; and his mother, Marjorie Dalsing of Gardner, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wayne Dalsing.
