Robert Schenck, 42, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Robert was born in Big Spring, Texas, on Jan. 15, 1971. He enjoyed the outdoor life, camping and wanted to be a meteorologist. He collected coins of all kinds and loved animals.

Robert is survived by one sister, Debbie Schenck of Midland; brothers, Allen Schenck of Greenwood, Johnny Schenck of Big Spring; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta (Bobbie) Schenck; and a sister, Melody Gay.
