Roger J. Demers

Roger J. Demers, 62, passed away Saturday June 30, 2012, his home in Newark, Del.

He moved to Big Spring in 1975 and worked at Malone & Hogan Clinic as a physician's assistant with the local surgeons until 1987. He had also served in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland J. Demers.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Demers; two children, Melissa Baker of Clearwater, Fla. and Jason Demers of Bear, Del.; his mother, Irene Demers; a sister, Elaine Wilk; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Beeson Funeral Home in Newark, Del. Funeral services with military honors will be Monday, July 9, 2012, at the National Cemetery in Newark, Del.
