Roland 'Ro' Gore

Roland "Ro" Gore, 60, of Big Spring died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Family visitation will begin directly following the vigil until 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
He was born July 24, 1952, in Paris, Texas, to Peggy (Hood) and Ruben Gore. He served in the United States Marines. He was a Mason and a Shriner, as well as a member of Cossack Motorcycle Club and, later, Exile. He married Sally Carrillo in 2003 in Mingus, Texas. He owned Ro’s Fleet Maintenance. His ashes will be spread at Sturgis, S.D., Four Corners and Terlingua.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Gore of Big Spring; three daughters, Marsha Gore, Christi Gore and husband Jeremy, all of Lampasas, and Ashley Burt of Big Spring; nine grandchildren; one brother, Rodney Gore and wife Rhonda of Buffalo, Texas; three sisters, Tina Lee and husband Elmer, Lisa Schultz and husband Reevis, all of Buffalo, Texas, and Ginger Pate and husband Nathan of Arkansas.
