Rolland Nelson

Rolland Nelson, 91, of Pampa, Texas, formerly Big Spring, Texas, and Arkadelphia, Ark,, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was born Aug. 27, 1920, the son of John Davis and Hattie Golder Nelson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nora Kathleen Nelson; two sons, Randy (Jennifer) Nelson of Bismarck and Richard (Angie) Nelson of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Janie (Ronnie) Richard of Pampa, Texas,; one sister, Marie Furnatter of Magnolia, Texas; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia with Pastor Rick Mays officiating. Burial will be held in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
