Ronald I. Dallefeld

Ronald I. Dallefeld, 72, of Big Spring died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rick Cunningham officiating.

He was born Jan. 31, 1939, in Kansas City, Mo., to Donald and Lois Fangel Dallefeld. He married Delma Henley June 2, 1961, in Big Spring, Texas.
Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years and retired as a master sergeant. He then worked as a pumper for 24 years, retiring in 2000. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Staked Plains Lodge No. 598 A.F.&A.M.

Survivors include his wife, Delma Dallefeld of Big Spring; one daughter, Debra Shumaker and husband John of Dallas; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hangar 25 Air Museum, P.O. Box 2925, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2925; or to the Vietnam Memorial Committee of Big Spring Inc., P.O. Box 2854, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2854.
