Ronnie Wales, 66, of Big Spring died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, in a local hospital. Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

Ronnie was born Feb. 3, 1945, in Oklahoma, an American Indian of the Choctaw Nation. He served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver for most of his life. He married Betty Boykin on Feb. 5, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev.

In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by a step daughter, Valerie Johnson of Benton, La.
