Rosie Flora Bell Nutt Posey, 84, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Jess Colegrove officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. Sunday at Grape Creek Cemetery, Grape Creek.

She was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Muleshoe, Texas, and married Leonard Posey May 26, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 2007.
Rosie was a longtime resident of Big Spring and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Birdwell Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Edith Baker of Coahoma and Ann Taylor of Waco; two sons, Gary Strickland of Lafayette, Ga., and Tom Posey of Big Spring; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. and Rose Tivis Nutt; and one brother, David Nutt.
