Ruby Faye Roberts Lewis, 80, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, in an Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rick Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
She was born March 7, 1933, on a farm near Knott, Texas, and married Lawrence Ray Lewis July 13, 1952, in Knott, Texas.

Ruby and Lawrence Ray were members of 14th & Main Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Ray Lewis of Big Spring; three sons, Lawrence Ray Lewis Jr. and wife Emma of Big Spring, Russel Lewis and wife Teresa of Wichita, Kan., and Randall Lewis of Hobbs, N.M.; three sisters, Hazel Shockley, Evelyn Holcomb and Lillie Hendricks; seven grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Ida May Roberts; and a sister, Zada Shockley.
