Rudy Hilario, 52, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Pastor Reynaldo Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born Feb. 14, 1960, in Big Spring, Texas, to Pilar and Jacinto Hilario. He lived most of his life in Big Spring, except for a few years in North Carolina and California before returning to Big Spring in 2006. He had a family owned clothing business. He was a member of Lighthouse Restoration Center. He married Mary Montez in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Big Spring; four sons, Rudy Hilario, Richard Hilario, Raymond Hilario and Rocky Hilario, all of Big Spring; two daughters, Suzzana Hilario and Stephanie Cortez and husband Rigo, all of Big Spring; three brothers, Robert Hilario, Jacinto Hilario Jr. and Lorenzo Hilario, all of Big Spring; four sisters, Celia Rodriquez of California, Margie Salinas of North Carolina, Floralinda Lopez of New Mexico and Concepcion Viera of Big Spring; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Reggie Hilario; one brother, Anselmo Hilario; and one sister, Gloria Garcia.
