Run to the Wall to rumble through Big Spring Saturday

May 13, 2014

Big Spring takes its role Saturday in the annual Run for the Wall motorcycle ride enroute to Washington, D.C. to support the nation’s veterans, both living and deceased.

Hundreds of motorcycle riders will enter Big Spring from the west side, head south on FM 700 to the Vietnam Memorial to lay a wreath and say a prayer or two. The annual event begins each year with cyclists heading from California across the nation, picking up more riders along the way, before arriving in Washington, D.C. on Memorial Day eve.
