Halie Dawn Schaefer of Garden City and James Thomas Marlow of Big Spring announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Douglas and Karen Schaefer of Garden City.
She is a 2008 graduate of Garden City High School and a 2012 graduate of Angelo State University.
The prospective groom is the son of Thomas Marlow Jr. and Theresa Marlow, both of Big Spring. He is a 2008 graduate of Forsan High School. He is employed at H-E-B.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
