Ambrie Megan Schaffner of Big Spring and Justin Richard Witte of Odessa announce their engagement.
Ambrie is the daughter of Shane and Cynthia Schaffner of Big Spring.
The bride elect is a 2008 graduate of Big Spring High School. She received her bachelor of science in social work from University of Texas Permain Basin in 2011. She is in graduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington.
The prospective groom is the son of Richard and Dianna Witte of Odessa. He is a 2001 graduate of Permian High School and a 2006 graduate of Odessa College. He is employed by Monticello Diagnostic Imaging as a radiology technician.
Grandparents of the bride are Bill and Corene Schaffner, Linda Lindell and the late Paul Lindell and Ron and Diane Mason.
The couple plans to exchange vows May 19, 2012, in Big Spring.
