Scott Andrew Woolverton

Scott Andrew Woolverton, 48, of Lusby, Md., formally of Big Spring, Texas, passed away suddenly Dec. 7, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Leonardtown, Md.

Scott was born Sept. 16, 1963, in Big Spring, Texas, to the late Raymond James and Mary Lou Chagnon Woolverton.

Scott was employed as parts manager for Fitzgerald Auto Mall of Lexington Park, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Woolverton; daughter, Andrea Lee Woolverton of Columbus, Ohio; step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Porras of Gulfport, Miss.; step-son, Frank Rene Porras of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Micki Maddux and husband Fred, Irene Weimer and husband Jerry and Jessica Greenwood and husband Cory; brothers, Ed Woolverton and wife Naomi, Jim Woolverton and wife Kathy and Tom Woolverton and wife Diane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will received friends at Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 20 American Lane, Lusby, Md. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at 10 a.m. until the time of the service celebrating Scott’s life at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private.

Donations in Scott’s memory may be sent to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
