Search continues for Hailey Dunn

Hailey Dunn

COLORADO CITY — Both investigators and volunteers pushed forward today despite frigid temperatures in the search for 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, a search that has already spanned more than three weeks since the child's disappearance.

Searchers continued to comb fields and wooded areas near the Dunn home, looking for traces of the girl, including clothing and personal items.

Despite the outpouring of support in the search — more than 40 volunteers have turned out each day to help scour the area — no new leads have been identified by investigators in the case.

A candlelight vigil — one of many held since Dunn disappeared — is planned for 7 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Colorado City, as hopes of finding the young girl alive begin to dwindle.
