Senior Swim under way at family aquatic center

June 3, 2014

The Senior Swim program began today, allowing area seniors allotted time at the Russ McEwen Family Aquatic Center to perform some light exercises in the pool.

“This is our third year for the program,” said Debbye ValVerde, Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce executive director. “Seniors 50 years old or better are able to utilize the aquatic center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon for some light water excesses if they wish to participate, or they can walk in the lazy river.”
