Sergio Hernandez Gonzalez, 32, of Forsan died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in Big Spring. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Sergio was born Oct. 7, 1980, in Mexico, and married Melissa Daniels on March 22, 2008, in Big Spring. He came here at the age of 9 and attended Big Spring schools. He was working for Robinson Drilling as a derrick hand.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Gonzalez of Forsan; four sons, Jordyn, Adrian, Cristian and Andrew Gonzalez; his mother, Abundia Gonzalez of Big Spring; four brothers, Jose Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, and Gonzalo Gonzalez, all of Big Spring, and Enrique Gonzalez of Dallas; and two sisters, Maria Chavez and Josephina Gonzalez, both of Big Spring.
He was preceded in death by one son, Sergio Gonzalez; and his father, Jose Gonzalez.
