Shirlene Rainey 81, of Big Spring died Saturday, May 17, 2014, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Shirlene was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Big Spring and married Gorman Rainey Oct. 27, 1951, in Big Spring.
She worked for the First National Bank as a teller and greeter for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gorman Rainey of Big Spring; three sons, Rex Rainey and wife, Aneica of Big Spring, Russ Rainey and wife, Janet of Arlington; and Kent Rainey and wife, Cherri of Big Spring; one brother, Royce Walker and wife, Linda of Big Spring; and one sister-in-law, Brenda Rainey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Nannie (Tubb) Walker.
