Shirley Jean Rhea, 68, of Odessa, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.

She was born Oct. 20, 1945, in Wichita Falls, Texas and married Morris Rhea July 13, 1991, in Odessa. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2007.

She was a hairdresser and loved raising children. She was a longtime owner of Cassidy's Hideaway,.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Jim Thomas of Odessa; three daughters, Bambi Heard and Melissa Butler both of Odessa, and Susie Morgan of Andrews; one sister, Gwendolyn Marker of Levelland; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Edna Louise Renick; her father, Alvis Lee Renick; and a brother, Jackie Langford.
