Sixteen indicted by grand jury

A Howard County grand jury returned 16 indictments Thursday, including a number of true-bills for narcotics charges.

Among those indicted were:

• Darrell David Brown, 38, of Midland, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Allysia Dawn Heckart, 29, of Odessa, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• David Wayne Crow, 23, of 617 S. McEwen, possession of marijuana (state jail felony).
• Pierre Jean Gordon, 20, of 806 Ohio, possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Terel Devon Houston, 19, 2609 W. Hunter, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Henry Miller, 18, of 1809 Young, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony) and possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Paige Jalena Smith, 18, of 1609 Oriole, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Isaac Stephen Rodriguez, 26, of 1413 Tucson, delivery of a controlled substance (first-degree felony).
• Jessica Faye Brooks, 23, of 1700 Settles, delivery of marijuana (two counts, both state jail felonies).
• Barney Kip Edens III, 31, of 2300 E. FM 700, assault impeding breathing – family violence (third-degree felony).
• Michael Anthony Gomez, 19, of 312 E. Davis, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony), possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony), theft of a firearm (third-degree felony) and theft of a firearm (state jail felony).
• Charles Randell Greer, 47, of Lubbock, driving while intoxicated (first-degree felony, enhanced).
• Caleb Hallford, 17, of 10 Kenley Rd., indecency with a child (two counts, both second-degree felonies).
• Joseph Alton Murley, 32, of 1405 Tucson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (second-degree felony).
• Gary Lee Scott, 60, of 1212 E. 17th St., evading arrest (state jail felony).
• Andrew William Smith, 25, of 4207 Dixon, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon (third-degree felony).
