The city of Big Spring will be getting a helping hand with its plans to renovate the city’s namesake in Comanche Trail Park.
The local city council will hear about two donations to the historic spring renovation project when it meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers, located at 307 E. Fourth St. Officials announced the $1.8 million renovation project, which will be financed primarily through the city’s hotel/motel tax fund, earlier this year.
Other businesses and agencies, however, are providing help in the form of cash and materials, as well.
