Steers expect ‘tough’ game against Mustangs

February 21, 2014

Big Spring High School head boys’ basketball coach Ian Ritchey isn’t one to sugar coat issues for his players. He doesn’t mind telling them they “coasted” into the playoffs, or that tonight’s area playoff matchup with the Shallowater Mustangs isn’t going to be easy. In fact, Ritchey doesn’t mind telling his team they will be going up against a tough Shallowater team when they hit the floor at 6 p.m. in the Andrews High School gymnasium.
