Stephen 'Steve' Johnson

Stephen “Steve” Johnson, 51, of Big Spring died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel with Dr. Doug Shelley, pastor of Eastside Baptist Church, officiating.

He was born Dec. 4, 1961, in France to Muriel and Charles Johnson. He worked most of his life in the oilfield. He also worked for B&E Roustabout and Robert Wash. He lived most of his life in Howard County and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy of Forsan; two daughters, Kami Saucedo and her husband Henry, and Kori Johnson Schumpert and her husband James, all of Big Spring; one son, Steven Johnson and his wife Jayme of Big Spring; three brothers, Eddie Johnson of Robert Lee, Shawn Anderson of Lubbock and Shane Anderson of Big Spring; one sister, Lafawn Johnson of Big Spring; and seven grandchildren, Brett, Micheala, Bradlee, Dylan, Kayden, Kyliegh and Toby.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Johnson; and one brother, Carl Johnson.
