Student numbers down a bit at HC; not unexpected

Contact hours — numbers the state uses to determine funding — Big Spring, Lamesa and San Angelo campus saw an 11 percent drop while the SouthWest Institute for the Deaf showed a 3 percent increase.This drop comes at the heels of several record-breaking enrollment years beginning in fall of 2009, added college President Dr. Cheryl Sparks.
