Students, parents ready to come up with graduation plan

April 5, 2014

Current eighth-grade Big Spring students and their parents will begin meeting with school counselors Monday to select a graduation plan as school districts across Texas prepare to implement a new set of graduation plans for the fall of 2014.
“One of the requirements implemented through House Bill 5, is that a parent and student must sign off on the plan that they choose, so it is extremely important that parents and students plan to attend the sessions next week,” said Mike Ritchey, Big Spring High School principal.
