Sue Balios

Sue Balios, 76, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.

Sue was born June 19, 1936, in Abilene, Texas, to Audre and Delmer McLeod. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Acuff, Texas, and married James Balios on June 29, 1954, in Lubbock. They moved to Big Spring in 1963 from Lubbock. James preceded her in death Nov. 12, 2002.
Sue worked for Citizens Federal Credit Union for 23 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Sue is survived by two daughters, Mitzi Balios (and Rhonda Abbott) of Colleyville and Molly Smith (and Maury) of Big Spring; one son, Mark Balios of Big Spring; one sister, Jimmie Lou Drake of Big Spring; one brother, Judge McLeod (and Linda) of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
