Sylvia H. Rodriquez, 57, of Big Spring, Texas, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Iglesia Bautista Central, with the Rev. Joe Torres, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Sylvia was born, Aug. 15, 1956 in Big Spring and married Juan Rodriguez, Jr. July 18, 1975 in Big Spring.
She was a faithful member of Iglesia Bautista Central and was a Sunday School teacher for more than 30 years. She loved singing and praising the Lord. Sylvia retired from Wal-Mart where she was a cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Rodriguez, Jr.; six sons, Juan Rodriquez III and wife Diana of Big Spring, Gabriel P. Rodriquez and wife Myra of Midland, Aaron A. Rodriquez, Israel F. Rodriquez and wife Amber David Abel Rodriquez, and Joshua I. Rodriquez and fiancé Chaneel, all of Big Spring; twelve grandchildren, Ariana A., Adonica A., Desiree D., Mercerdes J., Juan Luis-Miguel, Avery N., Lybertee L., Isaiah F., Gabriel E., Alexis N., Victor A., and Skylee J.; one brother, Abelardo Hilario Jr. and wife Christina of Big Spring; and two sisters, Olga Vera and Elva Pena and husband Lorenzo, both of Big Spring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abelardo Hilario, Sr. and Josefina Arriola; and two brothers, Ruben Hilario and David Hilario.
