Tashanna Forman, 40, of Big Spring died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Bethel Baptist Church.

She was born March 4, 1973, to Bertie and Clarence Forman in Big Spring. Except for a few years in Oklahoma, she was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She attended Howard College and Murray State University in Oklahoma. Tashanna was employed by West Texas Dialysis as a patient care technician. She was a member of New Life Church, where she served as youth director.

She is survived by one son, Xavian Young of Big Spring; two daughters, Arelle Young and Tashalla Young, both of Big Spring; a step-daughter, Mia Daniels of Midland; her mother, Bertie Hawkins and husband Freddie of Big Spring; her father; Clarence Forman of Big Spring; a sister, Marlo Bailey and husband Douglas E. Bailey Jr. of Big Spring; three brothers, Colbie Ford of Big Spring, Chauncey Ford and wife Deana of Big Spring and Joey Harris of Dallas; her grandmother, Elmira Forman of Big Spring; and three grandchildren.
