A six-month multi-agency investigation culminated Wednesday morning with the arrest of 10 Big Spring residents â and warrants being issued for several more â on various drug charges.
Officers with the Big Spring Police Department, Howard County Sheriff's Office and Department of Homeland Security were all involved in Wednesday's arrests, BSPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Tony Everett said.
The BSPD Tactical Team executed a search warrant at 1510 Sycamore early Wednesday morning. During the search, a âsubstantialâ amount of crack cocaine was found and confiscated, Everett said. Subsequent to the search, BSPD, HCSO and Homeland Security agents arrested the following individuals:
â˘ Tina Marie Ausbie, 26, on two counts of delivery of a controlled subtance.
â˘ Amy Abrego, 31, for possession of a controlled substance.
â˘ Lahoma Jurdan, 44, for delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Anthony Vasquez, 38, for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Ricky Bob Yanez, 27, for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Paula Butler, 44, for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Adrian Dehoyos, 21, for delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Jennifer Cate, 31, for delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Matthew Mendoza, 33, for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
â˘ Tabitha Montez, 19, for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
All arrested suspects were booked into the Hogue Joint Law Enforcement Center Wednesday. Bond had not been set as of Wednesday afternoon, pending the suspects' arraignments.
In addition, a 16-year-old female was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and turned over to juvenile probation officials, Everett said.
Aside from those arrested Wednesday, arrest warrants â all for felony drug delivery charges â have been issued for the following persons:

All individuals still being sought are Big Spring residents, Everett said.
The arrests culminated a six-month investigation by the BSPD narcotics division, working with the HCSO and Homeland Security officials, into narcotics trafficking in Howard County.
