Teodora T. Ramirez

Teodora T. Ramirez, 79, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

A prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

Teodora was born May 1, 1933, in Del Rio, Texas and married Canuto Ramirez Sr. Nov. 7, 1958 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death July 16, 2010.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.

Survivors include four sons, Canuto "J.R." Ramirez Jr. and wife, Christina and Francisco Ramirez and wife, Mary, all of Big Spring, Jose Luis Ramirez and wife, Diana of Homestead, Fla., and Gustavo Ramirez and wife, Olivia of Midland; three daughters, Alicia Ramirez of San Angelo, Maria Enriqueta and husband, Marlin Johnke of Lubbock, and Adela Ramirez and husband, Noe Arguello of Big Spring; one sister, Guadalupe Gonzales of Big Spring; 22 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Teodora (Tellez) Ramirez; one daughter, Celia Moran; four brothers, Jose Ramirez, Camilo Ramirez, Octaviano Ramirez and Felipe Ramirez, Jr.; and one sister, Francisca Carillo.

The family suggests memorials be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, P. O. Box 951, Big Spring, Texas 79721-0951.
