Terry W. Turner, 91, of Arlington, formerly of Big Spring, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home in Arlington. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel.

She was born to Ellen and Jeff Wade Sept. 9, 1922, in Lake Providence, La. She moved to Big Spring, where she met and married Jake Turner. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring. She worked for Big Spring State Hospital before retiring in 1994. She then moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to be with her daughters and sons.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Turner of Augusta, Ga., Rayfield Turner and wife, Vernell, of Arlington, Kenneth Turner and wife, Tina, of Dallas, Linda Miller and husband, Harry, of Salado, Joyce A. Turner and Michael McKendrick of Irving, and Ellen Clewis and husband, Phil, of Arlington; her sisters, Thelma Bridgewater of Aledo and Carrie Ward of Dallas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jake Turner; and sons, John Turner, Charlie J. Turner and Kelvin Turner.
