T.M. Allen, 82, of Big Spring, Texas died Friday, March 21, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Denton Valley Cemetery, south of Clyde, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Eula, Texas and married Mary Ann McKiernan March 10, 1956, in Wichita, Kan.

Mr. Allen served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1975, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He then worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. T. M. was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Allen of Big Spring; two daughters, Sandra Kay Martin and husband, Walter, of Round Rock, Texas and Paula Sue Allen of Leander, Texas; one son, Troy Michael Allen of Big Spring; one brother, John Allen of Odessa, Texas; one sister, Sue Windham of Abilene, Texas; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
